Early Childhood Center

Schedule and Programs

The Early Childhood Center offers programming for children

seven months through five years of age, including the following:

Parent/Toddler Classes
This special class starts you and your child on a path of learning together. We offer two classes based upon age. We offer 7-18 months of ate as well as 18-24 months of age, together with their parents, grandparents or caregiver. Our first course for children and their parents is a 90 minute class that meets weekly. Your child will learn how to interact with peers and begin to navigate the early childhood setting. Discussion topics will range from sleeping through the night, to toilet training, discipline and more!

The preschool curriculum is built with a balance between academic and developmental philosophies of education with an emphasis on the whole child. It is designed to create an environment that encourages a love for learning, with
a focus on:
· Jewish Values
· Secular and Religious School readiness
· Creativity
· Social Development

Group I (2-3 year old students)
We offer classes two, three, four or five days per week for our youngest students. The goal of this class is to provide a positive first school experience for the child as he or she learns to separate from parents each day. Children who are 2-3 years old and not toilet trained can also become involved in our afternoon Club Katantan which includes play time, rest time and a snack.

Group II (3 years old by September 1st)
Classes for this age group are offered two, three, four or five days per week. In addition to the morning program, children who are over three years of age and toilet trained can also become involved in the afternoon Enrichment Classes. These classes offer additional learning opportunities in areas such as music, math, science, drama and literature.

Pre-K/ TK Group (4 years old by September 1st)
Classes for this age group are also offered two, three, four or five days per week. The goal of this class is to build on the skills attained in the younger preschool groups and to leave the ECC fully prepared for Kindergarten and our Religious School program. Children in this group can also take advantage of our afternoon Enrichment Classes (see above).

Full Inclusion Preschool Project
The Full Inclusion Preschool Project (FIPP) is based on the philosophy that all children belong in a fully inclusive, general education environment no matter their challenges or special needs. Funded by private organizations and donors, FIPP’s goal is to enable children with special needs to actively participate in the same classroom with their typically developing peers. Our program offers services to toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners with — or at risk of — developmental delays or other disabilities.

Enrichment Classes (3 years old and up and must be toilet trained)
We offer dynamic afterschool Enrichment Classes 5 days a week from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. Classes may include; Music and Movement, Around the World, Mix and Stir, STEM Superstars, Amazing Athletes and more!

Extended Care Program
Breakfast Club 8:00 am – 9:00 am

Snack Buddies 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
During this time your child will be provided with a light nutritious snack and enjoy appropriate activities until the 3:00 pick up time.
