Synagogue Book Read

While understanding the history, religious connections,  and political situation in Israel has always been an important element of our people feeling connected to the land, our current global crisis and rise in antisemitism in relation to Israel has never made this literacy more important.

With a better understanding of Israel’s history and formation, the Israeli Palestinian conflict, and Israeli society in general, we will be better equipped with an understanding of historically accepted facts, and to respond in a thoughtful and nuanced way to attacks on Israel and the Jewish people and educate others.

Once you register, you are welcome to pick up a free book and discussion guide at our front desk. You can also download the discussion guide here.

We also have the following discussion groups that you may participate in. Please make sure to contact the group leader below to let them know you want to join the group.
