In order to make God friendly and relatable, Rabbi Erlick rewrote the entire Jewish prayer book, changing God’s pronoun to “She.”
In this process, she wrestled with the following questions:
- What should Goddess' name be? And should there be a version that we can't say?
- What do we do about the pejoration of words for women in English -- that the feminine form of big words like Master and Lord are small words like Mistress and Lady? 
- Is this a brand new idea? Is it unkosher and dangerous? Or in fact has Judaism been doing this all along?
