Jews With Conservative Values

JCV’s mission is to offer diverse programs and speakers promoting community and unification through a Jewish conservative perspective on social, political, cultural and educational values. This committee is currently working on programs to present to its members and the congregation at large. They are also working on Tzedakah projects and action projects. All are welcome.

Kulanu

We are all aware and concerned about the rising tide of Anti-Semitism/Jew Hatred. Our synagogue is one of 113 synagogues nation-wide  partnering with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in a Synagogues in Action Against Antisemitism program called Kulanu. We are also working with Stand With Us to take advantage of their world-wide resources and their proactive programs at high schools and colleges.

The Kulanu program is dedicated to empower congregations in addressing antisemitism and hate in their communities through education, community engagement and advocacy. We value access to these two outstanding organizations. As a synagogue member of Kulanu, we are committed to providing three components for our community.

• An event for our Temple Beth El SOC community (see panel discussion above)
• An event for the wider Orange County community
• A process for members of our congregation to report incidents of anti-Semitism to the ADL and law enforcement

Report an Antisemitic, Bias or Discriminatory Incident
If this is an emergency situation, please dial 911 to report it immediately to the police.

If you have experienced or witnessed an incident of antisemitism, bias or discrimination, please report it to us and to the ADL using the link below. The ADL will do their best to assess your situation and respond as quickly and appropriately as possible. Any personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential.

Incidents reported using this form will be evaluated by the ADL and the Union for Reform Judaism or United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, as appropriate, and those organizations will follow up and provide assistance as appropriate. The reports may also be included in the ADL's Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, an annual survey and tally of acts of hatred against Jews in the United States.
