Temple Beth El is thrilled to announce we have received an Adamah Climate Action Fund grant! This grant allows us to decrease our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This grant made possible by Adamah and its Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition will allow us to install sensor lights on our second level. This is step 1 in our continued commitment to reducing our footprint. The Orange County Climate Grant Fund is made possible by a gift from Robert S. De Leon and Susan Mattisinko through the Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County.
The Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition is a network of more than 270 Jewish community organizations across North America who recognize the existential threat and moral urgency of the climate crisis and commit to take action. All Coalition members, including Temple Beth El have committed to developing organizational climate action plans that will focus on reducing our institutional emissions and mobilizing our broader networks to engage in climate action.
Thank you to Adamah for being a critical partner in this effort.
